HP版のカラーiPod発表

HPは自社ブランドの「iPod photo」を発表した。30Gバイト版と60Gバイト版の2種類。専用スキン「Printable Tattoo」にも対応する。
米Hewlett-Packard（HP）は4月12日、HP版のApple iPod新モデルを発表した。約7500曲を保存できる30Gバイト版と、1万5000曲を保存できる60Gバイト版の2種類。いずれもカラーディスプレイ搭載で、デジタル写真を最高で2万5000枚保存できる。

従来のiPodは、数千曲もの音楽をポケットに入れて持ち運ぶことで、音楽の聴き方に変化をもたらした。今度は、くっきりと美しいカラースクリーンを持つiPod photoが「音楽を目でも楽しむ方法」を教えてくれる。プレイリストを色あざやかなメニューから選んだり、今聴いているアルバムのジャケット（アートワーク）を外出先で見たり、さらにはゲームで遊んだり、予定表を確認するときもカラーで表示できる。iPod photoでは、音楽と一緒に「思い出」だって持ち運べる。
